On April 9th, 2010 I began a project to paint 100 outdoor paintings in 100 days. In the 100 day period I painted 115 paintings in total (a few wipers), and learned a tremendous amount about plein air painting. It was a hugely valuable experience – and most of all reminded me of the benefit of intensely focusing on a thing for a concentrated period of time.
